“I came out of Camden Town station and vanished without a trace.”

“He says he wants to be alone! But I don’t believe him.”

For Sam, number 33 Georgiana Street is a place to disappear. For Bohemia, it’s a blip between her mum’s boyfriends. Old Isobel acts like she owns the place, although it actually belongs to Steve in the basement. Like ants, they scurry about their business, no questions asked.

But dig deep enough and you’ll find that everyone has something to hide…

I loved both of Jenny Valentine's previous novels so I wasn't surprised when I loved this one as well.

It took me a little while to get in to the book and gel with the main character Sam because he didn't let any of the characters in the book know him. Bohemia was my favourite character though. She was brave, strong, and really sweet. With so much to deal with at such a young age, she was mature and really sure of herself. I really admired her.

The plot was really well written and I was really curious about why Sam was living at 33 Georgiana Street and I wasn't disappointed when all was revealed. Overall, it was a brilliant book that could easily be devoured in a single sitting.
