At the beginning of the month I
went to Circolombia at the Camden Roundhouse with Jim (YAYeahYeah), Jesse
(Books4Teens), Hannah (Faber publicist), Julianne (Lady Julianne) and her
boyfriend, Nick, Stacey (Pretty Books and Charlie (Charlie in a Book). I hadn’t
been to the circus in years and it was lots of fun.
Interviewing
Sarah J Maas at Comic Con
After a rather disastrous start
(took so long to get in and then I couldn’t get through to the booth as it was
so busy) I got to meet and interview Sarah behind the Bloomsbury booth! We
didn’t have long, but I got most of my questions answered and I got fantastic
responses. Sarah is so, so lovely, and brilliantly funny. It was a pleasure!
New tattoo!
Tattoo number two! I got this in
honour of my mum, even though she hated tattoos…irony.
Tulips were her favourite flower and I wanted something that wasn’t immediately
obvious to everyone else and so came the watercolour. It’s by Alex at Fifth
Dimension in London and I LOVE IT.
