For Review:

Infamous – Sherrilyn Kenyon

I control my destiny and my life.
Nothing controls me.
Ever.

Go to school. Get good grades. Stay out of trouble. That’s the mission for most kids. But Nick Gautier isn’t the average teenager. He’s a boy with a destiny not even he fully understands. And his first task is to stay alive.

Nick is ont he brink of becoming eitherthe greatest hero mankind has ever known...or he’ll be the one who ends the world. With enemies old and new gathering forces, he will have to call on every part of himself to fight or he’ll love everyone he cares about.
Even himself.

Even though I own the first two books in this series, I havent gotten around to them yet. Thanks, Atom!

After the Snow – SD Crockett

Willo is a straggler kid living in the dangerous and barren landscape of a new ice age.

Coming home after a day of trapping hares on the snowy mountainside he discovers that his entire family is gone.

And after one night in the empty house he knows they are not coming back. Isolated and at risk Willo loads up his sledge and embarks on a terrifying, freezing journey of survival. The dog spirit inside his head is his guide and only companion.

Prepare to have your bones chilled and your breath taken away as time and time again Willo is forced to question everything he knows.

Really looking forward to this one. Thanks, Macmillan!

When You Were Mine – Rebecca Serle

What if your love story didn't have a happy ending?

What if you were the girl Romeo loved – before he met Juliet?

Meet Rosaline. She’s in love with her best friend Rob and, when they finally kiss, she knows it’s meant to be.

But then her cousin Juliet moves back to town. Beautiful, intriguing, and a little bit crazy Juliet – all the boys love her, and Rob doesn’t stand a chance.

Like her namesake, Rose is about to find out that while being written out of your own story might feel like the biggest tragedy of them all, being alone isn’t the worst fate of them all.

Beacuse the greatest love story ever told might not be the right one, but we all know how it ends.

So excited for this one! And it’s a 2012 debut! Thanks, S&S.

Unrest – Michelle Harrison

Seventeen-year-old Elliott hasn’t sleep properly for months. Not since the accident that nearly killed him. Sometimes he half-wakes, paralysed, while shadowy figures move around him. Other times he is the one moving around, while his body lies asleep on the bed. His doctors say sleep paralysis and out-of-body experiences are harmless – but to Elliott they’re terrifying.

Convincedthat his brush with death has attracted the spirit world, Elliott secures a job at a reputedly haunted museum, determined to discover the truth.  There, he meets the enigmatic Ophelia. But, as she and Elliott grow closer, Elliott draws new attention from the dead. One night, during an out-of-body experince, Elliott returns to bed to find his body gone. Something is occuoying it, something dead that wants to live again – and it wants Ophelia, too...

Yay! Thanks, S&S!
