There’s nothing better than being a Betty.

Geena can’t wait to spend summer vacation with her favourite people: her best friend, Amber, and her cousin, Hero. They’ll be working at the Triple Shot Betty coffee shop, and Geena’s sure it’ll be great. But the moment Amber and Hero meet, the claws come out. They hate each other on sight. Geena’s dreams of a girl-bonding summer fly out the window, and then threaten to vanish entirely when a few cute (okay, drop-dead gorgeous) guts enter the picture. But all is not what it seems; and in a story of mistaken identities, crazy summer high jinks, and enough romance to make Shakespeare proud, Geena and her friends learn that when Betty’s unite, they can take on the most powerful force in their world: a hot guy.

This book was really funny. Some of the remarks that Geena and Amber came out with were biting, sarcastic and generally hilarious.

All of the characters were really well developed and written about in a way that allowed me to get to know them and like them (or in the case of John, hate them!).

I really wished I had read this in the summer because it is the perfect holiday read. Although, it did brighten up our miserable, rainy March. I'm looking forward to reading Triple Shot Betty's in Love to see how the Betty's get on.
